Potter League Heart and Sole Walk.

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to photograph the Potter League's Heart and Sole walk. It was a nice day and it was held at the beautiful Glen Park in Portsmouth. There were over 500 people in attendance and just about every shape and size of dog on display. There were many events for the kids as well as contests and activities for the dogs and their owners.

The new Potter League facility is incredible and their staff and volunteers are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. If you haven't been to their new place you really should stop by some time. You can also check out the animals available for adoption at www.potterleague.org.

We've been invited to display our work at Hairspray Salon and Gallery at 259 Wickenden Street in Providence, RI. It's a pretty cool place and Wickenden St is always an interesting place to visit. Frequent Flyer Miles

Over the years we've had clients from many different states and as far away as California. However,Katherine has them all beat! She lives in Athens, Greece. Don't get me wrong she didn't fly here just for us but learned about our studio from family in the area and scheduled a session. She was a lot of fun to photograph and here are just a few of her images.

Pretty in Pink-Amber & Alexa

We have been lucky enough to have been photographing Amber since she was about 9 months old (she's the little girl that graced our recent St. Patrick's Day card). This session was the first time that we met her beautiful baby sister Alexa. It's hard to believe that Amber was just about the same age as her new sister when we first met her! This job can make you feel a little old sometimes. ;)

Anyway, it's always fun to see the kids grow up through the years and it's always an honor to be a part of their portrait history. Here's a little video highlighting the girl's session.

Jasmine

Jasmine is a very sweet Border Collie mix. She was adopted from the Potter League for Animals and is enjoying her new home (it's always great to see a nice dog find a loving home). She's very friendly, well behaved and as you can see extremely photogenic.

If you are interested in rescuing a deserving animal the Potter League is a great place to visit. Their new facility is incredible and worth visiting even if you can't adopt a pet at this time. Their website is http://www.potterleague.org/.
